Among the backgrounds of my childhood, there is the sound of the sewing machine. Yvonne, my maternal grandmother loved sewing. With her sister Annette, they gained their independence with their confections.
Five years of art studies (at the École des Beaux-Arts in Bordeaux) shape the critical mind. A creation never comes by luck, its production is always a combination of stories and concepts.
I remember growing up then it took me a handbag because the pockets of my clothes were shrinking. To think of a bag is to imagine a journey. All that allows transportation, vehicles or objects fascinates me as the idea of going elsewhere and at the same time coming from elsewhere.These notions always motivate my path.
In 2016, as a family, I put my bags in Hong Kong, an oasis of possibilities where cultures mix. One thing leading to another, I needed a practical bag for any occasion. A bag is like shoes, it must be comfortable, and it's better if it's chic.
Inspired by the elegance of the city of Hong Kong, between modernity and tradition and Japanese design, I created the bag Yvonne & Annette bag, simple and reversible. The line merges with the design, the V shape makes it easy to catch things inside. The materials are soft and light. Back in France now, I wish you lot of journeys and I hope you like this idea and that this bag will accompany you for a long time.
Parmi les fonds sonores de mon enfance, il y a le bruit de la machine à coudre. Yvonne, ma grand-mère maternelle aimait la couture. Avec sa soeur Annette, elles ont gagné leur indépendance grâce à leurs confections.
5 années d’études d’art ( à École des Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux ) façonnent l’esprit critique. Une création n’arrive jamais fortuitement, sa réalisation est toujours le mélange d’ histoires et de concepts.
Je me souviens qu’en grandissant il m’a fallu un sac à main, car les poches de mes vêtements rétrécissaient. Penser à un sac, c’est déjà imaginer un déplacement. Tout ce qui permet le transport, les moyens ou les objets me fascine comme l’idée d’aller ailleurs et en même temps de venir d’ailleurs. Ces notions motivent toujours mon parcours.
En 2016, en famille, j’ai posé mes sacs à Hong Kong, une oasis de possibilités ou les influences se mélangent. De fil en aiguille, j’ai eu besoin d’un sac pratique pour toute occasion. Un sac c’est comme des chaussures, cela doit être confortable, et c’est mieux si c’est chic.
Inspirée par l'élégance de la ville de Hong Kong, entre modernité et tradition et par le design japonais, j'ai crée le sac Yvonne & Annette, ultra léger pour se balader. La ligne se confond avec la fonction, la forme en V permet d’attraper facilement les choses à l’intérieur. Les matières sont douces et légères, réversible, pour un coté fantaisie ou classique. de retour en France, j’espère que cette idée vous plaira et vous accompagnera longtemps tout au long de vos voyages.
